The semi-transparency of the outer fabric creates a chiaroscuro effect achieved through the overlap with the black layer underneath the padding. The colour contrast is particularly visible along the garment’s seams and changes as the padding shifts. The garment is assembled with sleeves in cotton chenille, treated with the manual application of coloured pigment using rollers.
